Building Bamboo Canoes

Seriously, how hard could it be?

Well, 10 hours after we started we actually had what we thought was a working canoe. The next morning we tried it out in a local pool and to our surprise it worked!

The boys now have the month of September to make two of these fine vessels that we will attempt to float on our canoe outing on the 26th.

Check out the slideshow and video below ... it even manage to move a 250lb scoutmaster around the pool without sinking!
