Winter Backpacking to Duncan Hollow Knob

The Canadians decided to send us a little present this weekend. Instead of keeping their artic weather to themselves they kindly sent some south for us to enjoy. So kind of them.

I'm not sure of the actual low temperature overnight but I can assure you it was definitely on the lower end of the chilly scale. Maybe dropped into the high teens or early 20s, whatever the number it was cold.

The guys did a great job staying warm and although it can be challenging being out in weather like this, it is also really rewarding when you know you can do it safely and actually have some fun.
