a walk through history
Our latest trip to Gettysburg had a different twist than our previous trips. We went on a 6-hour, 10-mile walking tour! And it was by far the best way to truly understand what happened.
25 scouts, a scattering of sisters, a lone webelos and a happy group of parents endured the rain to be lead around the battlefield by a great guide. She was truly passionate about the battle and really tried to get the boys to understand the true gravity of what happened. I think she succeeded.
