A walk in the woods on mother's day
What better way to spend Mother's Day than hiking in the woods. That's what 8 mothers did on Mother's Day 2016.
16 scouts, 4 dads and the mothers headed a short way up 270 to Little Bennett Regional Park to hike our third 10 mile hike of the season. It was a lovely meandering hike through the park that included a fair amount of mud, 3 river crossings and some beautiful meadows.
