a great day to hike the shenandoah
Wow, did we luck out with the weather. One of the harder hikes in terms of elevation loss and gain was helped greatly by an unseasonably low start temperature of about 60 degrees.
The team of 12 scouts and scouters did the Lewis Falls to Rose River Falls to Dark Hollow Falls loop and as you can see from the photos below the flowers were out in full force and misty clouds made it all quite eerie at times.
