Troop 1916's Journal

Although "Blogs" are all the rage on today's websites, we like to think of this piece of real estate on Troop 1916's new website as more of a "Journal," a concept that seems to be a more fitting way to capture the scouting experiences of a group of Boys Scouts from Northern Virginia.

Our Journal is really just a collection of personal reflections, memories, photos, and, hopefully, a few witty observations about what the Scouts are up to, what they are accomplishing, the life skills that they are learning, the fun they are having, and the lessons of leadership that will, as we like to say, make them Prepared. For Life.™

Here in our Troop's Journal, we will be publishing posts not only from yours truly, the Scoutmaster, but also from our Scouts themselves, our Assistant Scoutmasters, our Troop Committee Members, and our splendid, dedicated parents, who often join us on the Troop's various adventures. We think you'll enjoy reading them in the months and years ahead.

Thanks for checking out our new website!
